Hurricane Delta hit the coastal areas of Mexico, a country located between the North and South American continents. The magnitude of the powerful Category 4 hurricane Delta has been reduced to Category Two.
The 175-kilometer-per-hour storm uprooted trees, crushing them and severely damaging several vehicles.
The tornadoes disrupted the power system and left thousands without power. Thousands of tourists were evacuated from coastal areas in the wake of the storm.
Numerous flights have also been canceled due to bad weather, and oil companies have closed production platforms in coastal areas due to the storm.
