By The United Nations has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the incessant incidents of violence and sexual abuse against women in India.
The United Nations Mission in India said in a statement that it was “deeply shocked and concerned” by the continuing incidents of sexual violence against women and girls in India.
The statement added that it is committed to continuing to support the United Nations, the Indian government, and civil society in combating violence against women.
